HORMONAL & WOMEN’S HEALTH
Growing Within
A gentle introduction to puberty and first periods, with room for questions and kindness towards a changing body.

Who it’s for
Girls approaching or experiencing puberty. The suggested starting age range is 9–12, with final suitability based on development and the chosen format.
A little more understanding. Space for you.
Puberty can feel easier to talk about when there is space to ask questions without embarrassment. Growing Within introduces body changes with clear, age-appropriate information and reassurance that asking for help is welcome.
What to expect
- Puberty, body changes and first-period information
- An introduction to menstrual products and personal hygiene
- Space to explore emotional wellbeing and body confidence
- Age-appropriate discussion of boundaries and privacy
- Knowing when and how to ask a trusted adult or healthcare professional for help
- Interactive activities and anonymous questions within group workshops
Find your way to take part.
Three formats are planned: age-appropriate self-paced online learning, small in-person workshops and private 1:1 educational appointments. Parent or trusted-adult involvement, consent and suitable safeguarding arrangements will be explained for each. Lengths and group sizes will be confirmed before booking.
Support with a clear purpose.
Introductory puberty and first-period support, not individual medical advice. This is distinct from the deeper cycle, fertility and symptom pathways within In Her Rhythm.
